All the staff at Ego are selected for their friendliness and their professionalism, and we’re very lucky to have an incredibly talented bunch of people working with us. Some of them hail from just around the corner while others come from Spain, Italy and from right across Europe. It gives all our restaurants a truly cosmopolitan flavour and a real holiday atmosphere.
Of course, there’s a whole lot of loveliness in our food too. All our dishes are prepared to the very highest standards using only the finest ingredients. We make all our own stocks, sauces and we cook everything fresh to order. And although we’ve won an award or two for our food, we don’t get snooty about it. It’s seeing happy customers that really makes our day.

The staff are always very attentive, but not in your face, clearly they know the menu well and are always hospitable. I work as a bar/restaurant manager and we have brought members of our team down several times to show them how it should be done! My colleagues and myself consider your restaurant one of our favorite places to eat in Sheffield by a long way.

I would just like to give a special mention to the staff at your Kenilworth branch. I think their names are Theresa and Natalie. We have visited many times and the service is always brilliant, but last night was the best ever.
We had a birthday party celebration meal there for one of my friends and I had attempted to make a surprise birthday cake, it didnt come out too good but when it arrived at our table the girls had transformed it with fruit toppings and had even wrote Happy Birthday on it! Now that is what i call service!!
They really do make our visits a pleasure and deserve a special mention

A real treat, the best gambas pil pil ever, the tomato rub on the bread was awesome - excellent service too.
The best touch was the candle lit tables which drew us in. Very romantic, a lovely atmosphere and we will be back very soon.

We ate at Ego Lytham just before Christmas and had a lovely evening. I thought the menu was a pleasant change with some different choices compared to other restaurants, I personally had the lamb tagine which was delicious - served in traditional earthenware, very tasty too. The prices were also a pleasant surprise and the service was 5 stars. Thanks Ego for a lovely evening, would recommend to anyone.

I wanted to comment on such a lovely evening that both my partner and I shared in your Kenilworth restaurant recently. This was our first visit to the restaurant and will surely not be our last. The food was exquisite from the starter to the desert and one of the best meals I have enjoyed in a very long time.. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout the evening and couldnt do enough to ensure our time there was enjoyable, also providing their own recommendations on what would help compliment our dishes. We Recently dined in your restaurant in Lichfield,I must admit that I was a little worried when I was told that we would be “doing mediterranean” but a friendly welcome and a quick look at the menu put my mind at rest. This was followed by an excellent meal and a great service and we even had our own latin style singing duo to listen to all evening. It’s rare you get that nowadays. so many thanks and keep it up, we will definately be going there again

My family and I spent the week in Sheffield walking the Peak District, In order to experience the Sheffield Night Culture we ate out in the city every evening.
For us your restaurant was undoubltedly the best, not just in respect of the food, but the ambience and service - clearly a good team culture within the restaurant, My daughters were extremely impressed (normally they are easily bored and quickly dissapointed) The two waiters/waitresses were first class, with a really nice manner and helpful disposition. The food was well cooked, enjoyable, well presented and co-ordinated, so a thank you to the chefs. The assistant manager was attentive, so a well done to your chain and your staff.

Everyone was visiting for the first time (except my wife & I) and were very impressed by the food, decor and more importantly the staff and service in general.
