Loveliness is all about… well… being lovely. From the moment you step inside any of our restaurants you’ll feel like you’ve entered a little oasis a thousand miles from the stresses of daily life. You’ll see what we mean by loveliness everywhere you look. It’s in the decor, it’s in the menus, and most importantly, it’s in our people.

All the staff at Ego are selected for their friendliness and their professionalism, and we’re very lucky to have an incredibly talented bunch of people working with us. Some of them hail from just around the corner while others come from Spain, Italy and from right across Europe. It gives all our restaurants a truly cosmopolitan flavour and a real holiday atmosphere.

Of course, there’s a whole lot of loveliness in our food too. All our dishes are prepared to the very highest standards using only the finest ingredients. We make all our own stocks, sauces and desserts and we cook everything fresh to order. And although we’ve won an award or two for our food, we don’t get snooty about it. It’s seeing happy customers that really makes our day.

Would like to give you feedback on a visit my family and I made to the Hope Street resturant last Friday 30/1/09 late afternoon/early evening. Absolutely Great. Staff attentive and friendly without being too overpowering.  Food, excellent and presented well with adequate portions. All in all a very pleasant experience. Thank you.

We held our son’s 21st celebrations on Sunday 25th Jan with nearly 25 people. Everyone was visiting for the first time (except my wife & I) and were very impressed by the food, decor and more importantly the staff and service in general. Nothing was too much trouble, either prior to the day with the planning or on the day itself. Particular thanks go to Pandora and another member of the team (sorry forget her name) but please pass on our thanks for making the day a pleasant and enjoyable one. No doubt at least 20 other guests will be passing on their recommendations to others too!! Well done.

Just a quick note to say that my partener and I visited your restaurant in the Trafford Center last night for the second time, and the food, yet again, was fantastic. People are all too quick to complain but never give praise where due. We shall be back again soon!

My family and I ate in Ego in Chester on Sunday night. Having had a very indulgent weekend, I can honestly say, the meal in Ego was the best. The food was fabulous, the staff were attentive without being intrusive. Please, please please open an Ego in Birmingham.
