We ate at ego Lytham just before christmas and had a lovely evening. I thought the menu was a pleasant change with some different choices compared to other restaurants, I personally had the lamb tagine which was delicious - served in traditional earthenware, very tasty too. I just wanted to pass comment to the head office about the staff at the Lytham branch of Ego. They are without doubt the friendliest staff I have ever come across. I have had the pleasure to dine out in some of the worlds most expensive and select restaurants and have yet to come across nicer staff. I visit with my wife and children about 3 times per week, and have done for the past 2 years. Whether they are busy or not they always manage to be really polite and friendly. They always chat and work so efficiently. They are an absolute credit to your company. I work for both Stephen Fry and Alan Titchmarsh and the next time they visit I will be sure to bring them in so they too can sample the warmth of your staff in Lytham. You should be very proud of them indeed. In this day and age I have found staff in other restaurants rude and careless, so it stands out a mile when you get met by friendly staff who care not only about the business, which is clear, but they care about their regulars and there are not many places left where you feel like you are meeting family members rather than staff.
