We deal directly with three major suppliers for all our fresh meat, fish, dairy and produce. We’re confident that you, our customers, enjoy the highest quality ingredients possible. Dealing directly with just a handful of suppliers means we stay as close as possible to the produce and know exactly where it’s come from.
– MEAT –
100% of our fresh beef and chicken is UK Red Tractor farm assured. Located in Morecombe, our butcher ‘Althams’ is a traditional family run business with over 150 years of heritage and farming experience. We visit the farm every three months to maintain and monitor our exacting standards.
– FISH –
Six days a week, fresh fish and seafood is delivered to our restaurants. We know the fish you eat is at its best. Alongside our supplier, Direct Seafoods, we are committed to sustainable fishing and only support responsibly farmed species. Wherever possible our fish is sourced from the United Kingdom, minimising food miles and maximising freshness.
– FRESH PRODUCE –
Free-range eggs, fresh fruit and vegetables are supplied by Delifresh. Our pizza dough is stretched by hand to order and wherever possible all fresh fruit and vegetables are sourced from within the UK. Our menus change with the seasons to ensure you’re getting the best quality produce at the best time.
– INGREDIENTS –
Some of our key ingredients, that we hope you’ve become familiar with, are sourced direct from a handful of local suppliers across the Mediterranean. Our chorizo is hand-made to a traditional natural curing method in the Asturias region of Spain. Our guindilla chillies used in our best-selling starter ‘Gambas al Pil Pil’ along with our Manchego cheese are imported directly from Spain and our Mojo sauce from the Canary Islands.

Having trained directly under Marco Pierre White and Raymond Blanc, our Executive Chef team, led by Neil Morris, have over 35 years of experience working within Ego Restaurants. They blend the taste of the Mediterranean with fine dining techniques at exceptional value. We hope you love our food as much as we love cooking it.
